Live Your Style With Adidas NEO

I'm just a simple person and you can sense that from the way I style myself. I have always been content with just tees and jeans. I have always been afraid to experiment because I might not carry myself confidently if I ever change how I style myself. My personality is very simple, very timid and bashful.

Back in my teenage days in college, we didn't have school uniforms so I would always wear the same types of clothings: denim, dark, or faded jeans, T-shirts, tees, rubber shoes or sneakers and backpack. When everyone else were in their make up, accessories and trendy get ups, I have always stuck on my style, just laid back and relaxed. Simply easy. As they say, "Simplicity is beauty", yay! :-)

How I miss those days, just jeans, tees, sneakers and backpack. Completely carefree!

When I was already in the corporate world, I had no choice but to try putting on little accessories sometimes. Beaded bracelets worked fine with me so I stuck to that. As a matter of fact, although I am not using those as often as I could now because I am now a stay at home wife and mom, I still keep some of my accessories in check just in case.

Yes, I guess my being a stay at home wife and mom gives a little limit on how I express my personality through my style, for the simple reason that I don't go out that often. But it doesn't have to be that way all the time. So, when there's a chance to go out, that's when I am able to try to style myself again. Lately, I don't know why, but I have been into wearing shorts and mini-dresses. I have never been that kind of girl before. In fact, I have always been afraid to wear shorts and dresses because I have no confidence at all. But I guess, motherhood has taught me to become a little adventurous with my choice of fashion or style. As some people say, you don't have to look boring when you're a stay at home mom.

Hmm, comfort comes first now that I am a mom. And I find comfort in my new style. I can personally say that it's easier to move around when you're wearing comfortable clothes and accessories but at the same time, you don't compromise your personality. When people see you, they can still see that hint of simplicity and beauty in you.

And by the way, shorts and mini-dresses are easier to launder, don't  you think? Haha! Note that we don't have a househelp and I have a one year old boy to care for. So, I guess that's one of the considerations too!

I guess you can say that style and comfort comes together, yes?

  1. We're alike in style.I still just prefer t-shirts, jeans and sneakers...from college until now hehehe. I'm thankful I am not confines in the office cubicle and my job requires me to walk around the factory. We wear shirt jacks, not a far cry from t-shirts kasi rugged get-up pa rin and not the formal office uniforms. I rarely wear skirts and dresses, but sometimes, I like to try those on certain occasions.

Wish you the best on this entry :-)

  2. much comfy talaga if jeans and sneakers diba? thanks for the well wishes! :-)
