There's no doubt about it, Trev loves to draw. Err, or should I say, Trev loves to doodle and scribble! :-)
He loves to scribble, he loves to draw, he loves to paint, he loves to write! And he would do it anywhere! In fact, one part of our wall already became his "canvas". Haha! And I am so loving it! ♥
I have already mentioned here in my blog that we wanted to buy him a toddler table and chair so he can have his corner in our small apartment. A few weeks ago, we were able to buy him a toddler chair and another week after that, Allan went home with a box in tow. He bought Trev a toddler table. Yeah, we bought it separately.
We were both excited to see Trev's reaction once he settles in his nook. And we were so happy that Trev enjoyed his new corner of the house.
The table that Allan bought was plain white. My original plan was to put some letter and number stickers on it but the other day, Allan brought home a gift wrapper with Alphabet design, so we ended up wrapping the white table with it instead. For me, it turned out okay naman. :-)

Trev beaming with delight as he starts writing on his paper. We used the back of our old calender. :-) |
Stacking cups! :-) |
The other day, we bought Trev this white board (picture below) because Allan said so. Hihi! I was kind of doubtful because I am pretty sure that Trev will write and draw not only on the board but on himself as well. And I was not mistaken! :-) While he was doodling on the board, our bedsheet and his legs and hands were all full of his doodles, too! But, that's okay actually!
He's really very happy! ♥ |
He loves his work of art! Haha! :-) |
The other day, Allan went home with this. He bought Trev his first set of crayons! Nice!

I covered the plain white toddler table with the gift wrapper bought by Allan. And what do you know, Trev starting coloring it! :-) |

So, we just gave him again the old calendar so he can see his "art" better. :-) |
Whenever he's done drawing or scribbling, he always keeps his crayons back in the box! Aba, mabait na bata! :-)
Trev putting his crayons back inside the box. :-) |
This is just one of his many works of arts!
One of Trev's many masterpieces. :-) |
Lately, he's also into solving puzzles. Allan kasi downloaded an app on our tablet, it's a toddler game wherein the objective is to put the puzzle pieces together to form the animal picture. It then spells out the animal's name after you put the puzzle pieces together. Trev loves it so much. At 18 months, I think it's just so amazing how he can put the puzzle pieces together. Hmm, next time we'll buy him a real puzzle na. We're very proud of you, anak. Keep it up! Tatay and Nanay feels so blessed so have you in our lives!
Maybe dapat may clear plastic cover pa yung wrapper? Hehe! He looks really happy, and it's great that he packs away. :-)
ReplyDeletethose big smiles proves that he is really enjoying on what he is doing, buti di pa sya nag sulat sa wall nyo....hehehehe
ReplyDeleteAng galing naman ni Trev. Marunong na sya.
ReplyDeleteKids loves to scribble talaga. I just hope I can give my little girl a space too, so she can explore.
ReplyDeleteHindi lang bedsheet ang masusulatan. Wait til he discovers that the wall is a very wide writing area :D
ReplyDeleteOh the joy in his face while doing all these is priceless! He's lucky to have you as parents who provide for these things for him. :)
ReplyDeleteHe really enjoys what he is doing. For sure ma eenhance skills nya with your support.
ReplyDeleteLook at his big smile! Grabe he's super enjoying!
ReplyDeleteToddlerhood wouldn't be complete without getting pen marks on the bedsheets, floors, and walls. :) Did you cover the table with plastic as well? We bought a big roll of plastic cover (the ones we use for books only a bit thicker) and covered our kids' tables with it. It makes clean up easier as most stains from markers can easily be removed using alcohol without ruining the tables' finish. Plus, your Trev will soon be playing with clay as well.
ReplyDeleteHe's really happy on what he does. Just let him do the scribbling and coloring.
ReplyDeleteHe's having fun. I think this is the best time to introduce him to writing and reading to check if he remains interested.
ReplyDeleteAaaw! Isnt he so cute! Talaga namang he really likes it, you could tell by the sparkle in his eyes!
ReplyDeleteGood job Trev! Yes you can buy him jig saw puzzle na. Just choose those with large parts para hindi naman sya mabigla. Toddlers are amazing learners so we must take advantage at this stage :)
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Looks like he really loves to draw, always naka smile!
ReplyDeleteTrev is very cute! I think he is developmentally advanced!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! kids at this age love to explore on everything. The chair is just so perfect! its always good to learn at young age:)
ReplyDeletei like trev's smile, haping-hapi haha
ReplyDeletejust encourage him to doodle more, naku may artist ka na
Just get a larger piece of puzzle. Matt loves solving jigsaw puzzle at the age of two. That is better compared to other toys like guns and swords.
ReplyDeleteSo cute.. my gal likes doodling around also. I get her an exercise book so she doesn't draw all over.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so cute and so happy with his work! I love that you are encouraging him with this.
ReplyDeletehaha. funnny. even the bedsheets d nakawala. It's okay though. Let him be. :) I's good that moms like you are supportive, ung kapitbahay namin yan, sisigawan mga anak na and papaluin. It's sad. :(
ReplyDeletegood job mom! it's good that he is encouraged to explore his artistic skills
ReplyDeleteIndeed! Every child is a blessing :) Good thing Trev has cycle of work - he packs away after using his art tools. *hugs* Trev
ReplyDeleteHe seems very pleased with what mommy and daddy gave him to keep him busy! Btw, I think you can guide Trev to start learning the ABCs. My eldest nephew learned how to write ABC before he was 2. Tyaga lang :)
ReplyDeletehe likes to draw talaga mommy. I think most toddlers underwent that stage coz i have a niece and sometimes he wants to grab crayons and sometimes she wants to eat it..hehehe
ReplyDeletehe is born to be an artist.. hehe i remember my sister writing on the wall,. my mom freak out! haha
ReplyDeleteSooo cute, Trev! Van, I remember a post from Maqui of Familia KIKI blog. For Christmas, she bought canvasses tapos she just let her toddler scribble over them. Instant artwork for gifts! :D
ReplyDeletei love his smile, hays naalala ko mga anak ko when they are in trev's age
ReplyDeletecherish this time, mabilis lang lumaki ang mga bata, haha
