Okay, so nagiging suki na kami ng Dimsum Break SM Annex. Haha! Eversince hubby and I tasted the steamed hakao and empress rolls, we got curious about how the other dimsums taste like. Good thing that Dimsum Break offers affordable meals. :-)

Si Tatay parang gutom pa ata. :-) |
This time around, Allan tried the Beef Steak rice. He said he likes it better compared to the original steamed fried rice. The original steamed fried rice though is becoming one of Trev's faves already. As for the bacon wrapped shaomai and the quail eggs shaomai, well, sadly it didn't quite meet our expectations. Steamed hakao and empress rolls still top our list so far. Oh, and the coconut cream is a delight. Yum! Love it!
We spent a little over Ph300 for our meal. Not bad. :-)
By the way, they're still using bowls and glasses with chipped edges. Tsk tsk. I mentioned about it already in my previous post. I hope they change those utensils already for the safety of their customers.
That's a really affordable meal.. it looks yummy too :)
ReplyDeletelook delish and inexpensive, we'll drop by at DB one of these days
ReplyDeletedimsum break! yayy. i'm glad manila is getting to enjoy the dimsum dishes we all love her in cebu. do they serve malacca fried rice there already? try it. it's now my favorite. i used to be all about yang chow fried rice before but it changed when it tasted their malacca variety.

ReplyDeleteThe bacon wrapped shaomai seemed delicious. I was hoping to read that it was tasty. But seeing your son enjoying the rice and having the appetite to eat gives you a warm feeling.
ReplyDeletei wonder if that's a franchise of the original cebuano dimsum break :)
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy and the prices are very affordable.
ReplyDeleteI suddenly would like to eat my favorite siopao. That's part of the dimsum family, right? Perhaps the next time my goes out, we'll try Chinese food.
ReplyDeleteWow, it's really affordable there. Once we go to Manila, I'll make sure to go there.
ReplyDeleteQuail's egg with siomai...hmmm parang masarap yun ah. :-)
ReplyDeleteEstablishments in food courts aren't really that particular about service. I doubt they'd change their bowls and plates soon. We haven't tried Dimsum Break yet but we'll try their hakao when we do see one.
ReplyDeletethat is affordable meal.. and looks yummy..
ReplyDeleteP300 hmmm not bad nga. and they look so yummy.
