Artsy Meal Planner

When I became a stay at home wife and mom, meal planning was one of the things I learned to do. This saves us from buying more than what's necessary, like things that we don't need (yet), excess fruits and veggies that just end up getting rotten inside the fridge, clutter in the kitchen and of course, saves our budget big time! It's really a nice way to keep the budget in place. On a weekend, I would start by thinking what meals to cook for the coming week. I list down the ingredients I need then that's what we buy at the grocery/supermarket. It's as simple as that.

I was browsing the net for more tips and ideas when I saw this cute and artsy DIY meal planner.

So cute and pretty noh?

Anyway, there are a lot of nice meal planners online. I'm also thinking of doing my own DIY version to make meal planning more fun. Based from the meal planner above, hmm, I think I would have to add some few things pa. Like my hubby's baon perhaps. :-)

Do you do meal planning, too? Care to share your techniques?

  1. Cute! I love it! Although I think it's too simple for the Filipino meal plans. We don't eat just one dish a day kasi eh! :D

  4. The planner is so cute! Actually I don't do meal plans. I am too tired to do it when I get home. I usually ask the helper to do it for us.

  5. I love it. Actually I am also planning our weekly meals and I agree with you, you can save time and money. Every Friday I make a list of meals for next week. Then after that we go to wet market and grocery. I will list down the menu and post it at our fridge :)
