If you've been reading my blog, you would know that I am pro-breastfeeding. I have written some posts before about my breastfeeding journey and I am so happy to say that Trev and I are on our 22nd month already and still going strong. Thank God for this wonderful blessing! Thank you for giving me the chance to nourish my son Trev with the best liquid gold there is. I will continue to breastfeed my son for as long as he wants. And to all breastfeeding moms and pregnant mommies out there, breastmilk is the best liquid gold you could give your child. Go and continue on that journey. It's all worth it.

I am happy to share with you that there's a new book being released very soon by a fellow mommy blogger and the author of When My Bridegroom Comes & How To Have The Wedding Of Your Dreams, a wonderful supermom who's advocating breastfeeding, Ms. Teresa Gumap-as Dumadag. The book is entitled "Breastfeeding: A Journey Worth Taking". I am just so happy and I feel honored to be a part of this book. (Thank you to my former officemate, Grace, for introducing me to Ms. Tere.)

Coming soon this September 2013!
This book features moms from different walks of life (SAHMs, WAHMs, Moms working outside the home and Mompreneurs) who all chose to breastfeed their kids in spite of the challenges. You'll be inspired by the many stories of triumph that you'll read. I was inspired and blessed reading their stories.
You can order a copy/copies as early as now for yourself or for your relatives, friends and officemates and avail of a P25 discount. Those who will buy in bulk will also get bulk discounts. You can email me at teregmps@yahoo.com or pm me for details.
Praying that more mothers and families be blessed through this book... my own way of helping spread breastfeeding as an advocacy and reaching out to fellow moms.
Happy Breastfeeding Awareness Month!

Happy Breastfeeding Awareness Month!
Thank you, Ms. Tere for giving me the chance to help and inspire other moms on their breastfeeding journey. By sharing my nursing journey to you, I hope in my own little way, along with other moms who also contributed, I will become an inspiration to other breastfeeding mommies and soon to be mommies, too. God is so good! I am sure that many mothers and families will be blessed through your book. I'm excited for the upcoming book launch. I can't wait to get a hold of my copy, too. :-)
So, to all breastfeeding moms and soon to be moms, grab a copy, too!
Good to know that you're still breastfeeding sis. Keep it going! You're the milk mama as they say :)
ReplyDeleteVery lucky mother, I was only able to breastfeed for few weeks then stopped. Milk is too little. You are so blessed with good milk and its the best way to nourish your baby. God bless!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Van! I am an advocate of breastfeeding too. I breastfed my youngest until he turned five, and no other milk touched his lips ha! And I was working full time pa. The most difficult part was when I reported back to work after the 2 month maternity leave. I had to buy two manual Avent breast pumps (back then, the electric breast pumps are not available pa here in the Philippines) and go everywhere with the bag and ice pack (I live in Baguio so I didnt worry too much about getting the milk spoiled :)
ReplyDeleteProud to be an EBF mom, too! Kami naman, we're 17 months na breastfeeding. This book looks so promising! :D
