After we went to Vikings at SM The Block more than two weeks ago for my friend's and Trev's Ninong's birthday celeb, I grabbed the chance to also go to Trinoma to buy some items. First, Trev and I went with my friends at SM Annex because they wanted to go to the gadget section of the mall. After they shopped, I went with them to Trinoma but we parted ways already because they're off to MRT going home. So, Trev and I went straight to Landmark and Saizen. I was actually thinking of buying some silicone cups for my bento and an insect repellent for Trev.
Here were our shopping finds.
You might have noticed that I have used those silicone cups and lunch box in my previous bento posts. Well, that's because this is a super late entry. I couldn't really squeeze in a little extra time the past few days for this post. Huhu. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I love those silicone cups. It really makes portioning your bento a lot easier. It's also microwave safe so no problem putting the entire lunch box in the microwave with the silicone cups in it. And oh, did I mention that they're on sale? Yes, for a pack of 6 cups, it's only Ph80 so I got two packs! Original price was Ph129.75. What a steal!
The lunch box was I think Ph80+-, too and the sushi mat was around Ph40+-.
We also went to the department store and I chanced upon this Messy Bessy Insect Repellent Spray for Trev. We've already run out of Giga Baby Insect Repellent Spray and Human Heart Nature Bug Spray and while I haven't ordered one from HHN yet, I decided to try this one instead. Actually, since this is a late post, we've already emptied this bottle of Messy Bessy as of this writing. I have yet to write a review though. Stay tuned. By the way, this one is Ph135 for a 50ml bottle. Kind of pricey compared to Human Heart Nature which is just Ph99.75 for a 50 ml bottle.
After Landmark, Trev and I went to Saizen, the shopping heaven for all things bento! Hihi! I got some sauce containers, more silicone cups, mini cups with lids, a silicone mat, and asameshi nori. The silicone cups and the mini cups I was able to use already. They're so convenient. I'm still about to use the sauce containers though. As for the silicone mat, I'm planning to DIY some barans for my bento. Of course, I've used the nori a few times already. In fact, I've emptied one pack as of this writing. :-) By the way, all items here are Ph88 each.
We were about to go home already after our Saizen trip because I was already soooo exhausted and my muscles were aching like there's no tomorrow. You see, I was babywearing Trev on my ring sling the whole time we were at Trinoma so I could go hands free while "shopping". Anyway, like I said, we were supposed to go home already when I suddenly noticed that there was a booth of HHN at the Atrium of Trinoma. I checked it out immediately and saw that they have so many products on display! I got so excited and bought a few items. Got this Tough Love Dishwashing Liquid to wash my baby's bowls and other utensils. We're running out of Baby Clean Cleanser and I have always wanted to try this HHN product. And although I have already bought the Messy Bessy Insect Repellent Spray, I still got Trev the Bug Shield in Oil and this time, I got the lotion version, too. Well, we've emptied the lotion already and I haven't written a review yet. Sigh, so many back logs again. We're now using the Bug Shield in oil. I just love the scent of these products. By the way, I am already using the Tough Love for his utensils and I like it. Will post a review as soon as I can.
So, there you go! That's about it. After we got our HHN haul, I was toooooo tired to even walk fast so we could go home asap. My hands were so full! I had a backpack (Trev's diaper bag), my right hand was carrying our shopping finds and my left hand was supporting Trev who was still on the ring sling. And we had to walk back from Trinoma to SM North EDSA. The feeling was almost like I was going down a mountain after a rigorous ascend.
At home, all my muscles from all corners of my body were aching. Very, very much like when I climbed a mountain. Haha! Super, super tired. I changed Trev's clothes into his pambahay, put all our shopping loots in one corner (sorry, no energy left to even sort it out and keep it to where it's supposed to be), changed to my pambahay, too and Trev and I snuggled in bed as he comfortably nursed on me. Super tired, we fell asleep until Allan arrived from work in the evening.
Whew! What a day!
P.S. My muscles were sore for a few days after that. Much like I climbed Mt. Ugo again! :-P

I so want to try HHN products. Wala kasing mahanap dito. Perhaps I'll try online.

ReplyDeleteThere is Saizen in Trinoma? Which part? I missed that one. Next trip.
ReplyDeleteyes, sis. there is. it's located at the ground level, a few steps from mercury drug. nasa loob kasi siya ng True Value kaya di kita from the outside. you go straight inside True Value, sa dulo nun located ang Saizen. Nakatago. hihi. :-)
Deletei'm a fond user of human heart nature though they may be a little more expensive than the regular grocery brands. they are eco-friendly and mostly organic, so safe for prolonged use.
ReplyDeleteI'm using the HN diswashing liquid for my son's utensils and bottles and it's great! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, those are good finds! I like HN products as well. I think I saw the owners being interviewed over at ANC. so young and with a vision. Kainggit haha I wish I can think of a business na sobrang magkiclick
ReplyDeleteSame here. really got lots of backlogs in my blog. I will try to cope up the following week.
ReplyDeleteSaize has really lots of good finds though I haven't tried purchasing any from them. Meron din kasing malapit na Robinsons dito sa amin where Saizen was located.
I just want to ask if you are already a memeber of HNN and bought in their booth, will you get the discount offered to members too?
Naku, Daddy Allan, sinabi mo pa, I hope I will be able to update my blog with all the events that happened some weeks ago. Hay, busy busy.
DeleteAlam mo, yan ang di ko natanong. Sayang. I was so exhausted na kasi that time and all I wanted was for Trev and I to go home na kasi talagang sakit na ng buong katawan ko, huhu. Now, bigla ko rin tuloy naisip. Onga noh, mag-aapply pa rin kaya yung discount if we buy, as members, from their booths sa mall? Hmm.
