Sanrio-Themed Christmas Village At SM The Block

I remember last year, SM North EDSA's Christmas village theme was Hello Kitty. We had fun taking pictures then. This year, SM has teamed up again with Sanrio. The good thing is that it's not only Hello Kitty that's on display but a lot of other Sanrio characters that kids and kids at heart will surely like. The setting of the Christmas village is London-inspired.

So, to all Hello Kitty and Sanrio fans, here's another chance for you to take some pictures with your favorite Sanrio characters!

It was on a Thursday when we visited SM and Allan said that he wants us to check the Christmas village. He saw it opened days before. But he said there were a lot of people in line eager to take photos whenever he passed by. Good thing we went there on a weekday and it was still early before noon so there were only a few mall goers around yet. In fact, there was only one group of people taking pictures when we arrived.

Before leaving the house, umu-OOTD ang baby ko. Haha!

Trev loves his sunnies. As a matter of fact, we were trying to get it away from him when we were already inside the mall but he didn't want to take it off. He was wearing it the whole time we were taking pictures at the Christmas village. Haha!

Honestly, I'm not really a fan of Hello Kitty but nonetheless, I still had fun taking pictures. The displays and decors were so nicely done and the atmosphere was so festive and very much like Christmas na talaga.

Here were some of our photos :-)

I'm not sure but I think that's Mimmy White, Hello Kitty's  twin sister.

Trev got super excited when he saw this double decker bus! He loves all sorts of vehicles talaga!

I think this dog behind the red telephone booth is Pochacco.

They must be Hello Kitty and Mimmy's parents, George and Mary White.

With Kero Kero Keroppi and I'm guessing that this is the "London Underground".

It was so much fun taking pictures there. The decors and displays were all so cute and nice!

For those who are HK and Sanrio fans, there's also a shop where you can purchase their products. We didn't visit that area though. We were happy already just taking some fun shots at the village. :-)

The Christmas village of SM North is located at The Block Atrium.

  4. Wow Sanrio! I am a forever Hello Kitty fan. But I don't have a collection like other fanatics have. I want to go to SM North sana kaso super traffic naman and last night may Martilyo gang pa daw. Kakatakot.
