Our Christmas 2013

I would have to say that this year's Christmas celebration was very special because finally, we were able to spend it at our very own home sweet home. We moved in a few days before Christmas day, and although in those few days we were very busy fixing and organizing our things, we still had a wonderful celebration.

Hubby's side of the family went to visit us on Christmas day so Trev had so much fun playing with his cousins.

Our "Christmas Tree". :-P

Like what I mentioned in my previous post, we were not able to put up our Christmas tree this year. Simply because we were so busy organizing and arranging our things when we moved in that we didn't have time (and budget actually, haha!) to scout for affordable Christmas tree to set up. Next year, for sure we'll put up our tree. :-)

Our simpleng handa.

I cooked the spaghetti and prepared fruit salad (not in photo), too. All the other foods were brought by my in-laws. They even cooked some chicken and pork barbecue at our tiny backyard :-). By the way, sorry for the "not so presentable shot". The kids were already hungry that I had no chance anymore to arrange the table, hihi! They actually brought a lot of foods which I was not able to take a picture of, too! But that's okay, may nahabol pa naman akong picture. :-P

My little guy with his cousins. :-)

The good thing about having a home near relatives is that Trev can have play mates anytime, unlike when we were far away from them. The little one had a lot of fun playing with his cousins!

Christmas evening.

It was a busy day that we were not able to take a family picture anymore. So we took the chance that evening while we were resting from the hectic but happy holiday.

This was the first Christmas that we celebrated with so many visitors. Looking forward for more bonding moments with the rest of the family next time.

Thank God for all the wonderful blessings!

Anyway, now that we're living away from the city, what's just sad was that we were not able to visit my side of the family this year. :-( We were also not able to meet with friends like we used to do during the past years to give our gifts. Our days were also full of house work since we moved in. Busy bee! Good thing though that we're not very, very far from the metro. So next Christmas, we'll make sure to visit them.

How about you? How did you celebrate Christmas? :-)

  1. No matter how simple your celebration was, just as long as that it was celebrated with the whole family then that's what matters the most. Happy New Year sis. :-)
