I have been meaning to get Trev a new toothbrush because his Oral-B Stages toothbrush badly needs a replacement. :-P
Some three weeks ago, we happened to pass by Mercury Drug to buy Trev his vitamins. While hubby was paying at the cashier, Trev and I were looking around at the shelves. I saw this Colgate Toddler Toothbrush.
I asked hubby if we could buy it for Trev, too. He agreed. Got two because it's so affordable at only Ph31.50! Nice!
Of course, I used it on Trev that night. Haha! Excited lang. And oh, the toddler was as excited as his Nanay. Look!
Happy with his new toothbrush. |
This is the way I brush my teeth! :-P |
Trev loves it whenever I brush his teeth. I always give him the toothbrush after so he could do it by himself, too. Like the picture above. He's already done brushing there but he's still enjoying his time. Hihi!
The Colgate toothbrush is soft but I think the Oral B Stage 1 is softer. The latter has cushioned head while the former has none. Well I guess that's because the Colgate toothbrush is designed for kids ages 2-5 while the Oral B Stage 1 is for 4-24 months. It's more expensive though at around Ph120 (more or less) compared with the Colgate toothbrush at only Ph31.50. If only Mercury Drug had the Oral B Stages toothbrush at the time of our visit, there's a big chance that I would have chosen it over the Colgate toothbrush. But then, hmm, Trev is already 27 months so I guess we can try something for bigger toddlers this time. :-)
How about you, Mommies? Any suggestion on what's the best toothbrush for toddlers?

I used to buy OralB but the kuripot in shifted to something more affordable. But then again, I am no longer a kid. I can control the pressure on my toothbrush. Trev seems to be comfortable brushing his teeth. Soo cute.
